نتائج المقرر:

a. Knowledge and Understanding:

1- a1- Define the different principles of cavity preparation
2- a2- Recognize the different cutting instruments
3- a3- Identify the different types of non caries lesions.
4- a4- Recognize how to restore the proper anatomy of the tooth and maintain the health of the soft tissue.

b. Intellectual Skills:

1- b1-Analyze different sequence of cavity preparation and proper instrument usage.
2- b2-Differentiate carious and non caries lesions.
3- b3- Select the suitable cavity design according to carious lesion.

c. Professional and Practical Skills:

1- c1- Apply the general principles of cavity preparation for different classes.
2- c2- Use Properly the appropriate instrument.
3- c3- Judging the practical practice (proper anatomy of the tooth, health of the soft tissue).
4- c4- Apply the health and safety regulations within the laboratory environment.

d. General and Transferable Skills:

1- d1- Recognize the value and role of lifelong learning.
2- d2- Assess one’s weakness and strengths.
3- d3- Respect ethical behavior and professionalism.
