Area of Study :

• Identify the relation between man and other vertebrate classes regarding ontogeny and phylogeny. • To explain the symptoms of hypo- and hyper secretion of each hormone. • To relate different body organs to each other anatomically and use of the proper terms to describe their position.

a. Knowledge and Understanding:

1- To explain the relation between the anatomical site of the tissue its function
2- To name different animal phyla
3- To describe the similarities and differences in structure of different body systems in different chordate (vertebrate) classes in man.
4- 4- To identify the relation between man and other vertebrate classes regarding ontogeny and phylogeny

b. Intellectual Skills:

1- To recognize the main characteristic features of invertebrates classes.
2- To define hormones
3- To recognize the role of each hormone.
4- To explain the symptoms of hypo- and hyper secretion of each hormone.

c. Professional and Practical Skills:

1- To compare between the way of action of the nervous and endocrine glands systems.
2- To relate different body organs to each other anatomically and use of the proper terms to describe their position.
3- To estimate the possible abnormalities result from lesions in certain organ or system using his knowledge about structure and function of this organ.

d. General and Transferable Skills:

1- Recognize of the value and role of lifelong learning, self-assessment and critical thinking in maintaining competency
2- Evaluate personal progress and be able to assess ones weakness and strengths
